Egypt Sherrod, the real estate agent host of HGTV’s “Property Virgins” and “Flipping Virgins,” has joined forces with her husband and builder, Mike Jackson, in an all-new series, “Married to Real Estate.”, which airs on HGTV Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.

As Sherrod and Jackson explained these concepts to her, she was genuinely interested and caught on quickly. Sherrod believes “If you see a spark in your child, you have to honor it,” so they decided to give her weekly lessons and quiz her around topics just like they do with her school subjects. “School gives them the basics to survive, but if you want them to thrive and grow and live to their full potential, you definitely need to carve out a curriculum at home.” Sherrod says.
