UBS Aims for Full Rollout of New US Wealth Platform in 2023 – Financial Advisor IQ
UBS is targeting 2023 for the full rollout of its Wealth Management Americas Platform, which it is building in collaboration with Broadridge Financial Solutions, according to its 2021 annual report.
The wirehouse entered into a partnership with Broadridge in 2018 to boost advisor technology in its U.S. wealth management business, as reported. Initial software delivery for the new Wealth Management Americas Platform began in 2021. With the new platform, UBS aims to improve advisor productivity and revamp the technology used for advisors’ workstations.
“In the U.S., in collaboration with software provider Broadridge, we are building the Wealth Management Americas Platform, for which we continue software delivery, with full conversion targeted for 2023,” according to the firm’s annual report, released Monday. “The development of our platforms is happening alongside enhancements to our digital capabilities, for the benefit of our clients and advisors.”
The Wealth Management Americas Platform is expected to serve UBS’ advisors “better and better,” chief executive officer Ralph Hamers said during UBS’ fourth-quarter earnings call in February.
